Your Photographer - Mark Campbell
I have always been interested in photography since I was 12 when I started printing photographs in my own home darkroom (spare pantry). My camera was a Kodak Box Brownie. I developed a passion for it at 14 when I worked in my school holidays and saved up for my first 35mm camera.
I trained as a Science Teacher and started teaching in 1976. I have always used photography as a form of expression and have enjoyed photographing family, friends and life in general. I have shot sports (little athletics), football, dance, and portraits. Joining a camera club and winning prizes for black and white printing was a rapid way to learn more.
I started to shoot weddings in 1990 and always enjoy the challenge and excitement that a wedding day brings. I particularly enjoy seeing the couple’s reaction to my photos and that they are pleased with my efforts in helping to record and remember their special day.
In 1998 I started teaching photography to high school students at St John’s High School, Nowra. With the advent of digital photography I quickly realized the potential value of this medium and decided to keep up with state of the art digital cameras and technology in my wedding photography.
If you like some of the photos on this site please give me a call or send an email to discuss how we can join together for your unique wedding day.
